Sanibel Island, Florida

Sanibel Island (http://www.sanibelisland.com) is a tropical paradise, renowned for its beaches, shelling, restaurants, golfing, tennis, fishing, boating, shopping, biking, and the famous J.N. "Ding Darling" National Wildlife Refuge & Bird Sanctuary (http://www.fws.gov/dingdarling). The Point Ybel Lighthouse  (http://www.nps.gov/history/maritime/light/sanibel.htm) has welcomed seafarers to the island since 1884.
